Visiting Baker, Mr Alan Lim - Training on Cookies, Bread and Mousse Cakes


A visiting Baker from Harvest, Mr. Alan Lim visited KHIN KUEH KHIONG on the 25th of November, 2010, to conduct  a training session on the use of  various products available  from Harvest The training session was for the staff of  KHIN KUEH KHIONG and was held in our test kitchen at E-Park Light Industrial Park.

New Product : Red Rice Yeast or 紅菊米

Red Rice Yeast or 紅菊米 (Monascus Ang) is the latest product for use in making bread. It is dark red in colour and comes in powder form instead of the traditional rice grains.




The Red Rice Yeast Powder or 紅菊米粉 is added to a bread mix to make Red Bread and is one of the latest product in the Taiwan market.

 
 
 
The texture is smooth and the addition of this powder baked a bread with a light sweet fragrance and makes for a very light sweet taste.

Visiting Baker, Mr 廖鑫祥 (LIAO XINXIANG) - Demonstration on Baking/Decorating Cakes

A visiting Baker from Taiwan, Mr. 廖鑫祥 (LIAO XINXIANG) visited KHIN KUEH KHIONG on the 9th of November, 2010, to do a demonstration on baking/decorating six varieties of cakes using products from Taiwan's TEHMAG FOODS CORPORATION (德麥食品股份有限公司). The demonstration was to a group of local bakers and was held in our test kitchen at E-Park Light Industrial Park.

New Product : Bamboo Charcoal Powder - A New Taste in Baking

The Bamboo Charcoal Powder is recently available at KHIN KUEH KHIONG. It is  BLACK in colour and is the latest sensation and new taste in baking!
